How do I know if my phone is compatible?
If your phone is listed in the download section on the shotcode website it is compatible. Please be aware that a functioning mobile internet connection is needed in order to use ShotCodes and surf the mobile web.
What is the penetration rate of ShotCode readers in the market?
ShotCode has the largest amount of compatible devices in the offline weblinking industry. Regarding exact penetration figures this is obtainable by consulting the demographics of your proposed market and comparing those with our the Shotcode compatibility list. What is the minimum size of a ShotCode?
All devices have differing quality lenses thus allowing for different size ShotCodes to be scanned correctly. ShotCodes should be at least 3,5 centimeters in diameter in order to be read successfully.
Can I customise the code and/or include my logo?
It is possible however black & white provides the best scanning results. Minor adjustments can be made to certain parts of the code which allow for example a small logo to be applied to the centre of the code. Text changes can be made on the upper half of the ShotCode. ShotCode.com is always written in the lower part of the ShotCode.

Do I have to print ShotCodes on paper?
No, almost all offline materials are compatible (fabric, concrete, wood, etc) as long as the contrast is clear enough.
Can it be used on any type of packaging?
Yes. As long as the contrast is clear enough with the packaging material which is to be printed on.
What are ShotCode`s printing requirements?
ShotCodes can be printed on any kind of object with any kind of printer. Please make sure that the contrast is clear (black&white) and that reflection is kept to a minimum. Also for best scanning performance, please make sure a white ring around the ShotCode is included.
How many ShotCodes can be made?
Our current distribution supports over 1.000.000.000.000 ShotCodes.
How do I connect my camera phone to the Internet?
Please check with the manufacturer of your mobile phone and/or contact your service provider for details.
How do ShotCode`s power switches work?
These URL switches provide additional information about the device used to scan a ShotCode:
They can track the user ID and the amount of times the shotcode has been scanned. This information is available in the GET-data of the url.
