Flexibility - The web site can be changed as frequently as the Brand owner desires: eg A product could carry a general shot code, where the web page being linked to is updated daily, or as frequently as needed. Eg Recipe ideas on food products

Competitions - Consumers can enter competitions by accessing the shotcode with their mobile phone.

Money off vouchers/Trend related giveaways - Vouchers for giveaways or discounts can also be obtained using the same method, giving consumers added incentives to access the code.

Media tracking – Codes can be specific by Media used, ie Each Newspaper campaign, cab carry a different code, allowing Brand owners to assess the success of their different media coverage
